Waukesha Wisconsin Police Officers Liable for Using Excessive Force By Shooting Drunk Woman Four Times with SL6 Baton Launcher.

On April 27, 2012, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled that Waukesha, Wisconsin police officers used excessive force in arresting an intoxicated female when they shot her four times in the leg using an SL6 baton launcher after she disregarded the officers’ orders to come out of her car.  A full copy of the court’s ruling in Phillips v.
